The "Golden" Opportunity Housing Assistance Program provides affordable living arrangements for an individual or family with the goal of owning a home and/or becoming self-sufficient.
About the Program
Darrel and Giovani Mack are the first recipients of the Golden Opportunity and are the current residents of the house.
They have completed their life skills instruction and are nearly ready to buy their own home and make the house available for the next resident.There have been two more houses donated which need repair. We hope at least one can be ready this year for occupancy.
Requirements and Eligibility
- Applicants must complete an application form and return it to Just Do It Now
- Participants who meet the requirements and obtain housing assistance will be required to abide by the terms and conditions of a standard lease agreement
- This program is intended to assist participants to meet home ownership qualifications within 18 to 24 months
