Community "At Risk" Education (C.A.R.E.)
C.A.R.E. is designed to educate the community by using personal contact within the community to discuss statistics, awareness information, and to give a basic understanding of at risk individuals. Our focus for this education is city and county government, business owners, individual citizens and the faith community.
About the Program
Through educating those in the community who have little or no close contact with at risk individuals,
C.A.R.E. raises the understanding not only of those in government and business but also individuals and the faith community. This education isn't a formal class but an ongoing use of personal contact where situations provide an opportunity to increase perception.
