Greg's Story

Just Do It Now was founded by Greg Baines as a result of his personal battles with substance abuse. The abuse led to other criminal activities and eventually imprisonment. It was through pure 'faith' that Greg began the road to personal change and inner healing.

Greg's personal experiences in the 'at risk' community enlightened him to the true needs of those individuals that continue to slip through the cracks of society. Greg's understanding of the needs of these individuals propelled him into a personal campaign of 'loving the community' back to health. Upon his final release from the Texas Department of Corrections, Greg immediately hit the 'streets' spreading the initial ingredient for at risk recovery, Love!

Greg attended Therapon Institute, where he received his faith based counseling certification and currently has a staff of four additional counselors who work along side of him. Just Do It Now is the conduit between the at risk individual and the rest of the community. The ultimate goal is to bridge the gap between these individuals and the other segments of society including government, businesses, and the community overall. A true understanding of the needs of an individual is the beginning of understanding how 'we' can be a component to community recovery.
